Pumped with adrenaline and caffeine, 24 artists made works to be sold on auction at the Seattle Design center on November 19th. The curated live auction will be followed by several silent auctions, and the proceeds go to both the artists and the Center.

Artist Statement:
Through figurative painting, I explore narratives that can emerge through the conflation of photographs from a variety of sources. This collaboration of moments allows the painting to introduce similarities and differences between the past and present, between reality and fiction. Allowing both time and reality to activate the subject matter, the viewer establishes a fictional connections between people that never co-existed. The painting becomes a two-dimensional collapse of time.
